Our mission is to provide children with a headstart and competitive advantage in their future with an early introduction to Mandarin Chinese, the language for this millenium. Our goal is to introduce children to the Mandarin language in a fun and entertaining manner that encourages learning.

Studies have shown that the younger, the better for learning a foreign language. Our "Early Start Mandarin Chinese with Bao Bei the Panda" series is designed for children ages 1 to 5, which we believe is a critical time to introduce the tonal sounds of Mandarin Chinese. Additionally,our introductory programs are geared toward children in a non-native Chinese environment. Watch our video debuting Bao Bei the Panda!

Children ages 8 to 12 will enjoy our "Cooking with Kids: Exploring Chinese Food, Culture, and Language" DVD, the first in a series of unique and entertaining videos designed to teach Chinese cooking, culture, and language.

Why is Mandarin Chinese so important?

Knowing any foreign language is great.  It opens up your mind to other cultures.  However, we feel Mandarin Chinese is the language to know in this millennium.  Mandarin Chinese is spoken by the world's most populated nation.  The U.S. State Department has designated the Chinese language as "critical to national prosperity and security."  In recognition of the need to build a population with knowledge of a critical language like Chinese, there is proposed legislation that authorizes $1.3 billion in federal funds over 5 years for Chinese language instruction in U.S. schools.  Mandarin Chinese is being added as an elective subject in many schools around the country at a very fast pace.  2007 is the first year that the College Board is offering Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Chinese language and culture.  As China's influence on global economy and politics becomes stronger, your children will be ahead of the curve by having a foundation in Mandarin Chinese.

If you are interested in providing your children with a head start and a competitive advantage in the world, the Early Start Mandarin Chinese DVDs are for you.  We believe it is critical to introduce children to foreign languages at a young age in order to develop linguistically and culturally competent adults.  The window of opportunity to learning second or third languages is before age 12.  As children get older, it becomes more and more difficult to learn and truly master the language.  Children who watch the Early Start Mandarin series repeatedly will be able to hear and differentiate between the different intonations of the language.  They will also have a foundation of basic words and phrases.  Most importantly, we feel our DVDs have the proper balance of entertainment and education, making it fun to learn a foreign language!
